What is in a Name?
There is a good blog post I wanted to share today. Click over to Simple Living Alaska and find out What is in a Name.
Throughout the Bible, names were given to children with much thought or expression. The name given was always for a reason. Never lightly or because of the “way it sounds”. To name something is to describe something, to give direction or a feeling to understand. God gave the name Abraham to Abram to describe what he was going to do in his life. Abraham means father of nations. Now when God called him that, and when people spoke it from then on, it was not a name that needed interpretation.
