I decided to write some resolutions for a change. These are ones that I do indeed tend to work on this coming year. So here it goes!- To read through the entire Bible this year.
- Strengthen the areas of the Fruit of the Spirit that I weak in.
- To be a more caring mother.
- Continue to fight my depression and anxiety disorder; hopefully with another year medicine free.
- Be a stronger and better wife.
- To move beyond my past sins that the Lord has forgiven and not let them hold me back. Even if they are brought up by others to not let it hinder my growth.
- Develop a stronger prayer life.
- Widdle down the things we own. Simplify things!
- Strive harder to pay off our remaining debts.
- Lose some weight.
- Focus on the joy of the Lord and to not get easily discouraged.
- To try and read more.
- To continue blogging and making great new blogging friends!

I have resolved to resolve NOT to do anything at all except things I really enjoy...Those who find me improvable are welcome to pass me by, as they say. But I admire you for your dedication!

Good luck accomplishing what is on your list. I also want to read the entire Bible this year and simplify things.

wow, I could totally make your list my own!
This year I've committed with a friend to read the Bible chronologically for a little twist on this year's reading plan.
I'll make a point of checking in on you to see how yours is going ;D .. feel free to bug me as well!
May the Lord bless you in these things Kristine! - At January 3, 2008 3:08 PM, MamaArcher said...

Do you have a chronological reading plan in a form that I can use? (written up)? That sounds interesting!

That guilt thing about past sins is coming from the father of lies. Reading His Word and hiding it in your heart will cure that issue, but it is a daily battle.
Each day you have to put on the whole armor of God. If you leave a piece off, that is where the attack will come from. - At January 3, 2008 5:16 PM, B&B said...

You wrote one of the best lists I've had the pleasure to read. I could so totally just adopt it but then I'd have a list! I'm just going day by day for 2008. So far three days in and all good. :)

Driller- thank you so much for the encouragement!!!
To those of you who said you could have written it, please join in with me, maybe we can help hold each other accountable! The more the merrier! It is comforting to know that others are working on the same things! - At January 3, 2008 6:48 PM, Joyismygoal said...

Hi MamaArcher, I forgot all about TT 13. But I'm glad I caught yours. My church is going through the Bible together. I'm very curious to see how many of us will stick to it.
And like you, I hope to strengthen by prayer life as well. This was a wonderful list. Let's see where the year will bring us. Many blessings, my friend.
