The Amoretti Skirty
Being the mother of several little girls, I was excited when I discovered the Amoretti Skirty. If your little girl is hitching-up her dress to check on a scraped knee she is most likely letting the whole world in on the news that she's got her undies on backwards. It may be that sweet little one is conscientiously smoothing her skirt over her knees, not yet aware that if your feet are on the chair and your knees are up around your chin, then the point of keeping your skirt down has been lost. It could be that it is just loads of fun to show the dinner company how she's learned to stand on her head. Maybe that sweet girl loves to go out in her favorite play dress and still climb trees, or cartwheel down the front sidewalk, or fly across the monkey bars; no worries with the Skirty. Yes, little biker shorts work too but a Skirty is cute and comfy, doesn't bunch up, and is a very feminine way to keep those little girls covered. Now the only question is: "Can I talk my hubby into letting me buy a dozen?"

Hey, we used to have those sort of breeches under our skirts as kids, too! My mom sewed them for us... hint: if your dh does not agree to a dozen, perhaps you can find a pattern online or HEY, I wonder if my freind also sews this stuff... I bet she does!
You could always ask Mrs. Lowell if she has a pattern for you (if her prices are too high... I live in Germany, so I have NO IDEA what is a good buy for y'all!)

Pretty neat, though!

My little girls always wear full "bloomers" over their panties under their skirts. They have ones that match outfits, but also an "array" of white ones with different laces, rickracks, and piping. And living in the South, we even have a number of them monogrammed with their initials or names! I adore "bloomies!"

Yeah, you said it! I want a dozen of these two! This picture reminds me of when you were little and you skipped LIKE MAD - LIKE YOU WERE ON A MISSION, just to feel the blood pumping through your body and feel good about what you could do! At least that's the way I felt.
