The children have their last homeschooling ski day on Friday and then we are ready for the flowers to bloom.
We all love the snow but I think the fact that we will be moving in a few months is making us anxious to be able to get out and enjoy the warm weather. To be able to do as much as we can here before we make our move to DC.
If anyone has any suggestions on how to fight the fever and to keep up on our studies, please post them and help me out!!!!!!!

I left a post here earlier but it didn't show up for some reason.. anyway, I just said that it's funny to read "ski" days because we have so much sand here in the desert (duh!) and the kids probably don't even know what that is. Vic has been to Flagstaff for sledding but that is about it! I'm trying to remember if Jesse has seen snow.. I'm sure he has at Oma's house :-)

With the homeschooling support group here they have a great PE ski program! Twenty dollars a whole day of skiing, your lift ticket, equiptment rental, and a lesson! With our size family it still adds up but we have been able to let them go twice this year.
Mt. Spokane also has a big tubing hill and the cost is $5 a person for the day. They had alot of fun. Brian was exhausted having to pull Abigail all the way back up the mountain though.
We have some great pictures but I have to figure out how to post them on here first. - At March 7, 2007 2:07 PM, Beckaboo said...

Love the early spring (here in Fla.) b/c the weather is not too humid and sticky nor is it too cool either, as Goldilocks would say, it's just right....
Just dropping by during the party, thanks for having me over... - At March 8, 2007 3:44 AM, Alexis Jacobs said...

Hooowee! I get spring fever, too, when that kind of weather hits!
But we won't see it for at least another month here in my part of Alaska.
Stopping by to say hi from the party.
